Wow what a week in Class 1. We have had so much fun with our learning this week and have left a huge glitter trail behind us all over the school…
We have had a week learning about King Charles III and have enjoyed reading stories about his life and journey to become King.
We wrote a letter to King Charles to invite him to Northside Primary School. Children also made him a card wrote the King a personal and special message, which has been posted off to the King. We can’t wait to hear his reply and fingers crossed a future visit
In Art and DT, children made some amazing crowns and Union Jack ribbon sticks, full of glitter and sparkle ready for our party!
In Music the children have been learning the National Anthem and have been trying so hard to remember all of the words.
In RE, children said a special prayer for our new King and have thought about how he cares for our planet just like us in Class 1!
Children also wrote their own shopping lists and invitations to their families and have even prepared a royal fruit salad for today’s special event
We had such a big lead up to our Coronation party and what a huge success it was. It was brilliant to see so many of our amazing families join us to support us with our celebrations for the King
The children absolutely loved having parents and carers in school and we all had so much fun! Thank you all for attending
